Most of the " leftist " policies in the USA are hardly even left, they're things which should be expected in a developed first world country that anyone with a shred of empathy would be okay with... - It's just that this goddamn country is so skewed to the right and devoid of compassion that basic human freedoms seem like a radical conspiracy from the left.
